Golden State at Memphis

Here we go again … back on the roads of NBA with a new year ahead…

Memphis had a really tough start of the season … they are now on 7 -25 …the worst record in NBA so far this year. They have a new coach from last month , and the situation seems to be back to normal. The most important factor for that is Paul Gasol comeback - he s averaging in the last 3 games 24 ppg, 8 rebounds, 3 assists playing 32 min per game. It s from far , the no 1 player of the team , giving a lot of his determination to his teammates. Mike Miller showed a really good shape against the Rockets, matching a season high with seven 3-pointers and scoring 32 points. Gasol added 21, but Memphis fell for the 12th time in 14 games. Last week they beat Toronto 110-104 in a great show offered by Miller & Co.
Memphis won all three of its matchups with Golden State last season, holding the Warriors to 82.7 points per game. Davis, though, missed the last two games with a sprained right ankle after being held to seven points on 3-of-9 shooting in a 104-94 loss on Jan. 3, 2006.

Golden State (17-16) started this year with a very hard win against NO /Okla last night 97-89. Davis, the no 1 player of the team, who leads the Warriors this season with 21.2 ppg, has helped the team compensate for Richardson’s struggles. In thier first game since Richardson’s injury, Davis had 29 points and made a big shot down the stretch during the win over New Orleans Davis is averaging 14.5 points and shooting 37 percent from the field in 11 games against the Grizzlies.
Forward Matt Barnes also had 29 points for the Warriors, and is averaging 20.8 in his last five games. Barnes added 11 rebounds and a season-high five steals.
It s gonna be pretty hard for GS to keep the same rythm on back to back games , because most of the players have a lot of minutes and they might be pretty tired.

In this conditions , today s pick could be a littlle bit risky , but i have a ot of confidence in it :

Atlanta at Toronto

For today , just a short preview …
After their lost agains Phoenix , 2 days ago , 98-100 , Toronto is looking for a win against poor Atlanta. With C Bosh back , but without TJ Ford , they scored every game around 100 points.
Atlanta is on a long loosing streak , 9 in a row , but against Toronto they always made good games . In the last 3 games , in december , they scored very low , missing their top scorer J Smith , scoring like 76,68 and 81.
Tonight line is at 195 points and the spread is -7 for Toronto. The hosts never won with a big advantage , but there might be a strong possibillity for an under game tonight .

So , today s pick goes to :

Atlanta at Toronto under 195 @ 1,93 played at Canbet

Milwaukee at Denver

Two teams without too much succes in the league this season …
Denver with the superstar Iverson is on a 5 games loosing streak , and seems that nothing it s working for them … They scored pretty low in the last 5 games ( only once over 100 points ..104 vs Lakers ).One of the league’s highest-scoring teams at 106.0 points per game, the Nuggets have been held under 100 points and lost by double digits in four of their last five losses.

The Bucks have lost consecutive games and are just 1-3 since a season-high, six-game winning streak. They made only 3-of-16 shots in the fourth quarter of Friday’s 95-86 loss to Cleveland, snapping a seven-game home winning streak . Villaneuva and Simmons are out for the Bucks.

The line is keep going till 211 at this hour .
In this situation , my bet goes to :

Milwaukee at Denver under 211,5 @1,93 played at Canbet

pick won

LA Lakers at Memphis

Opposite situations for tonight s opponents.

LA Lakers just got a great win over Dalls Mavericks , stopping the longest winning streak of the season. Kobe Bryant, who scored 14 of his 26 points in a final quarter , added eight rebounds and six assists, while Luke Walton scored 21 points and had six assists. The biggest shot, though, came from reserve guard Sasha Vujacic, whose 3-pointer with 28.5 seconds left proved the game-winner. Lakers are really showin like a great team this year , and thier record, 23-11, proves that. But they are just 7-7 on the road this season.

Los Angeles has lost six of its last eight meetings with the Grizzlies (8-27), however, and five of the last six in Memphis.

The hosts , Memphis , are a different team since their new coach arrived. They cored a lot better , and Gasol s comeback gave them a lot of confidence. The great shot accuracy of Miller made that great game against Golden State victory 144 - 135, last week. Memphis lost its second straight game on Sunday, 110-96 to the San Antonio Spurs, and fell to 2-3 under interim coach Tony Baron.

In my opinion , Lakers will try to slow down the game , beacuse they re playin back to back , and tomorow is a important game at Houston , and nobody wants to push it real hard tonight.

So , today s pick goes to :

Lakers at Memphis under 225 @ 1,93 played at  Canbet

Philadelphia at New York

Posted on January 10th, 2007 in Sportsbetting free tips by Raz

A very short preview for this game , still upset about yesterday s pick on Memphis …

It s the return of Larry Brown in NY as a Philadelphia official after he coached the NY team -without succes- last year.

Anyways , NY without S Francis ( happy about that , ’cause i hate Francis and Marbury playin togheter ). They are on a good streak of the season , winning the last 2 games against Seatlle and Portland. Something is changed about NY this year .. and i think Marbury is it .. He s way more focused than last year and now looks like a leader.

On the other side , Philly wihtout Iverson …looks lost in this big ocean named NBA. in the last 8 games , they managed to beat only poor Denver. Only Iguodala showed some good skills , but i think it s not enough for a NBA team. Also , C Wbber still missing , very important for the team.

Against Seattle , Marbury scored 28 points, Eddy Curry added 27 and Jamal Crawford had 22 for New York, which shot 51.3 percent from the field.

New York has won six of its last seven at Madison Square Garden against Philadelphia, and 24 of the last 31 games played there since 1991.
So , today s pick goes with :

New York -3,5 @ 1,93 played at Canbet

pick won
