Big blow for the hosts tonight .
Utah (29-16) expects to be without forwards Carlos Boozer and Andrei Kirilenko. Boozer got njured in Utah s lost 94-83 against New Orleans on saturday. After a poor game and with two of their best players injured , Utah seems to be in trouble for tonight s game.Rookies Paul Millsap and Ronnie Brewer are expected to start at forward against the Nets. Millsap, who’s averaging 6.0 points and 4.4 rebounds, had 15 points and a career-high 17 rebounds in Boozer’s place saturday. The Jazz, who are 16-5 at home, have lost three of their last five games at Salt Lake City.

The Nets (21-23) are coming after a series of games very unlucky … they lost 3 games at one point , everytime in the last second of the game. But they managed well the situation and they won at Denver 112-102. Carter has increased his scoring in all four games of the road trip after scoring a season-low eight points in Monday’s 88-87 loss at Sacramento. He’s averaging 36.5 points on nearly 66 percent shooting in the last two games. Even though they still missed Jefferson , NJ are recovering good after a bad start season and look like a very united team.

I m gonna go with the “underdog” here , because imo , the situation should be opposite. So :

Toronto s run to the 0,500 limit deserves appreciation. After a season with Bosh injured for 12 games they manage to play good and to win 22 games. They were lucky though , because they played against teams with many injured players ( Boston , NO ) , but they won at 2,3 points … TJ Ford is missing for tonight game , and i think it s gonna be an important loss.

Indiana (22-20) won his last 2 games , and made a great comeback against Miami , coming back from 20 points down to win in OT. The new comers played really good , and with J O Neal help they have a decent chance tonight to outscore Toronto s poor play on the road. I m expecting a good game by T Murphy .

Finally , Detroit with C Billups are back in the game … different story after a few bad games…
Pistons (24-16) are looking really good with the new signed C Webber and Billups back from the injury winning the last 3 games . Webber scored 7 from 9 and had 6 rebounds.

The Pistons were 7-point favorites on the road and the 195 points scored were OVER the posted total of 186. Richard Hamilton had 22 points, and Rasheed Wallace scored 11 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter for Detroit, which won its third straight game.

Washington (24-17) lost 127-105 to Phoenix on Tuesday, ending a four-game winning streak. Gilbert Arenas, who ranks second in the league with 29.7 points per game, had 31 to lead the Wizards in the loss.
The Pistons have won both meetings against Washington this season 110-91 and 115-111 , and i see them big favorites for tonight s game . Even though Was it s a good team , but their away record show their weaknesses.

Memphis is one of those weak teams in NBA this season . They changed their coach and gave the impression that everything it s back to normal … but looks like nothing it s normal for them .
The Grizzlies (10-32) lost their 10th in a row on the road Monday, 115-98 at Denver. Pau Gasol, the subject of recent trade rumors, led Memphis with 23 points and 17 rebounds.
Grizzlies second-leading scorer Mike Miller, averaging 17.2 points, was held to five points on 2-of-11 shooting.
Miller also committed five of Memphis’ 20 turnovers. The team is averaging 21.0 turnovers over the last five games. I wonder if it s possible to see a great show from Miller ( who scored this season 9 3ptointers in a game …) . The answear is NO. Memphis looks very lost and without confidence. The last game against Den  showed that.

Utah (28-14) are on their normal grid … last 4 games won , and very possible today will be the 5th in a row. Okur scored a career-high 38 points in a 114-111 loss at Washington on Jan. 15. In four games since then, including road wins at Detroit, Toronto and Chicago, the Jazz center is averaging 24.5 points per game.
Utah s last 4 games were under 220 . They had over games only against big scoring teams like WAS , MIA and Seatlle in OT.
At the end , i don t see Mem scoring over 100-105 , and this will lead to my pick for today :
