NBA Western Conf 2007

Posted on October 1st, 2007 in sportsbetting free tips, news & reviews by admin

After the preview about the Estern Conf - you can see it in here - we re back with a few lines about the other side . A lot of changes again and many transfers between the teams . We re getting ready for the season … so bookmakers , get ready !

DALLAS MAVERICKS

Before joining Team Germany for the European Championship, Dirk Nowitzki spent the summer backpacking in Australia to get away from media scrutiny. He slept in a car and neglected to shave for over three weeks … The Mavs signed Devin Harris to a five-year extension believed to be worth more than $42 million.
Will this roster be able to come back after a devastating loss to Golden State? Will Dirk be able to overcome the scrutiny he faces after disappearing in playoffs.

DENVER NUGGETS
Nene suffered a calf strain in the FIBA Americas tournament and most likely will miss the first few weeks of camp … The Nuggets moved forward Reggie Evans to Philadelphia for Steven Hunter and Bobby Jones in early September … Carmelo Anthony starred with the U.S. at the Olympic qualifying.
How much can a full season with Allen Iverson help the Nuggets? Iverson hasn’t played a full season since 2002-03. With each passing year he racks up more miles on his odometer and it seems to be wearing him down. The Nuggets had a better record with A.I. out of the lineup (19-13) than in (26-24).

GOLDEN ST. WARRIORS

The Heat tried for two months to acquire Mickael Pietrus through fruitless sign-and-trade scenarios but the Warriors didn’t bite. Pietrus should be in camp with a $3.47-million deal and a focus on becoming a free agent next summer … The Warriors played with their roster over the summer to fit even better into returning coach Don Nelson’s system.
Can the Warriors shock anyone this year like they did last April? The element of surprise may be gone from the Warriors but they will still have some of the liveliest fans in the league behind them. Another year playing Nellie-ball should prove for more shootouts and high-scoring affairs.

HOUSTON ROCKETS

The Rockets not only brought in Steve Francis through free agency, they drafted Aaron Brooks with their top pick and traded to bring back Mike James … Both Rafer Alston and Justin Reed had run-ins with the law … Luis Scola, who starred in Argentina’s silver medal win at the FIBA Americas tournament, came over from San Antonio.
How in the world will coach Rick Adelman find playing time for the five point guards? There aren’t enough minutes in a game to keep everyone happy. Also, with 18 players on their roster, some bodies will have to be moved.

L.A. CLIPPERS

Elton Brand, who is on the shelf after rupturing an achilles tendon in August, remains optimistic that he can return before season’s end. He has had the cast removed and has been fitted for a removable walking boot … The Clippers hope that the signing of Ruben Patterson will help ease the loss of Brand … Former lottery pick Yaroslav Korolev won’t be back with the team after they declined his option … Shaun Livingston’s rehab from a severe knee injury is ahead of schedule, but he is still a ways away from sprinting or jumping.
Can the Clippers win without Brand? His injury leaves the Clippers small up front but they can make up for it with a solid backcourt and great depth. The team’s only concern should be rebounding but the remainder of the cast could easily pick up some slack … Corey Maggette, Tim Thomas and Patterson all averaged five or more rebounds per game last season and could see bumps in those numbers with Brand out.

L.A. LAKERS

Kobe, Kobe, Kobe will be all you hear coming out of the Lakers camp this season. Bryant’s well-documented demands to be traded if the Lakers fail to bring in another top-tier player have been brushed over while he was playing — and dominating — with Team USA over the summer. The only talent they were able to land was the returning Derek Fisher and first-round pick Javaris Crittenton.
How long will Kobe remain a Laker? If the team around him starts performing better and gets off to a winning start, Bryant may be fine in Laker-land. But unless the team can get another solid performer to flank him, his days in Los Angeles are looking numbered.

MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES

Pau Gasol is still the undisputed best player on this squad and hopefully he didn’t get too accustomed to playing with players who were the calibre of his Spanish teammates … Darko Milicic unleashed a tirade of profanity at the media regarding the referees at the European Championship which upset his new employers … Marc Iavaroni takes over as coach.
How much will the new guys in town help this sad sack franchise? Mike Conley and Milicic, along with Juan Carlos Navarro, Casey Jacobsen and Andre Brown probably won’t be enough to help the team that had the worst record in the league last season get out of the gutter.

MINNESOTA T-WOLVES

The club will have to deal with the death of guard Eddie Griffin, who was killed this summer when his SUV collided with a train … Juwan Howard, who was acquired during the summer, already has asked to be traded … The deal that sent Kevin Garnett to Boston brought in a lot of young talent. Gerald Green and Al Jefferson should get a lot of minutes.
Who’s going to lead this team? The Garnett trade left the T-Wolves devoid of veterans. This young squad, with an average age of 25.8, will have to look up to the likes of Mark Blount, Theo Ratliff and Howard. The oldest guard on the team, Marko Jaric, turns 29 in October. The younger guys may have to lead themselves.

NEW ORLEANS HORNETS

Off-season acquisition Melvin Ely will be vying for front court playing time against an already deep front court … Tyson Channdler has shown up for camp early after playing with the U.S. team in hopes of developing a jump shot … Long-time Raptor Morris Peterson is looking to land a starting job but with will have competition in Rasual Butler.
New Orleans has two big questions facing it: Can the team stay healthy throughout the season? The club suffered with key players Chris Paul, Peja Stojakovic and David West missing chunks of last season. Secondly, are the Hornets good enough to make the playoffs in an always tough Western Conference? They have the talent but face stiff competition.

PHOENIX SUNS

The Suns and new GM Steve Kerr were so desperate to get out of luxury tax hell, they dealt Kurt Thomas and two first-round picks to Seattle for its second-round choice. The deal will end up saving the team roughly $15 million … The Suns have one roster spot remaining that needs to be filled. They have been looking at several fringe big men … Coach Mike D’Antoni is so impressed with newcomer Grant Hill’s workouts that he’s lobbying for his name to be put on the all-star ballot.
Can the team win if Steve Nash gets hurt? When Nash was forced out of the lineup last season, the Suns were 2-5 and looked disjointed. While Leandro Barbosa is a quality player, he didn’t seem able to run the offence nearly as well as Nash. Nash, who turns 34 this season, won’t be getting any more durable and the Suns’ window for taking home a championship is starting to close.

PORTLAND BLAZERS

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably know that first overall pick Greg Oden will miss his rookie season after undergoing microfracture surgery on his right knee. Reports are that he has back problems as well … After drafting Oden, the Blazers dealt their leading scorer and rebounder, Zach Randolph, along with Dan Dickau and Fred Jones for Steve Francis (since waived) and Channing Frye.
How will the team cope with the losses of Oden and Randolph? They do still have good young players like LaMarcus Aldridge and rookie of the year Brandon Roy so the team might not be as bad as some will anticipate. But, this is a rebuilding year and the possibility of teaming a top-five pick next year with a potentially healthy Oden is a solid foundation for the future.

SACRAMENTO KINGS

The Kings have made it clear they intend to make last season’s leading scorer Kevin Martin the face of their franchise and have given him a five-year extension worth upwards of $50 million. The departure of coach Eric Musselman might have played into Martin’s decision … New coach Reggie Theus once starred in the teen-oriented sitcom Hang Time. This experience may help him deal with a unique character like Ron Artest.
Where is this team going? Sacramento is in need of a shakeup since this group of players clearly isn’t working. The biggest off-season acquisition was Spencer Hawes, the 10th pick of the draft who won’t be the saviour of the franchise — this season at least — and the rest of the cast is aging.

SAN ANTONIO SPURS

Stars Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili both sat out the FIBA Americas tournament and will be well rested … NBA final MVP Tony Parker spent the summer trying to help France qualify for the Olympics. Parker also was busy tying the knot with Eva Longoria and releasing his debut rap album.
Can this Spurs team, a year older, repeat and keep its dynasty going? As long as the key players can stay healthy, Gregg Popovich’s squad shouldn’t have any problem making the playoffs and thriving.

SEATTLE SONICS

The Sonics will be without their two leading scorers from last year. Ray Allen was dealt to the Celtics while Rashard Lewis opted out of his contract and accepted a max-money deal with Orlando. A loss of talent like that would concern most teams but with the additions of Kevin Durant and Jeff Green through the draft as well as Delonte West and Wally Szczerbiak from the Allen deal the dropoff won’t be as much as expected … P.J. Carlesimo gets another shot.
What’s going on with the Sonics ownership? How long will the team stay in Seattle? While the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe has offered to donate 26 acres of land as a site for a stadium, there is still no plan to provide the $450 million needed to build it. After Clay Bennett and fellow Oklahoma-based owners purchased the Sonics, rumours immediately began about a move.

UTAH JAZZ

UtahAndrei Kirilenko led Russia to a shocking gold medal at the European Championship. He took home the MVP award from the tournament and he’ll be looking to improve on a lacklustre 2006-07 season … Kirilenko has demanded a trade and the Jazz has been in talks with the Suns over a possible trade involving Kirilienko and Shawn Marion. Nothing appears close to fruition and Kirilenko is expected to be present when camp opens … Emotional playoff leader Derek Fisher bolted the team for a return to Los Angeles.
Can the Jazz improve on its 2007 playoff run? Utah is hard-pressed to break through the West’s proverbial glass ceiling with Dallas, San Antonio and Phoenix on the top. They could fend off the Nuggets and take the Northwest division again, but making the leap to the NBA finals sounds like a stretch.

Hopefully it s gonna be useful for you and when the NBA season starts you ll find many free tips from the American League . Stay tuned !

M Utd - Roma

Posted on October 2nd, 2007 in sportsbetting free tips by admin

Back online with more free tips , this time from the supreme competition - the Champions League . Very good games tonight in Europe , but the big revenge it s about to go down in Manchester . So , bookmakers , be ready ! Today s game :

Manchester United - Roma

Last season , those two teams offered one of the most shocking result from the League ever - M Utd won 7 - 1 !This game will be similar in many aspects with that game. Don t forget about the game played in Rome this year won by the hosts (2-1).

Roma has a debt to pay to Manchester United after that humiliation. I think that Roma comes to Manchester to win and even though they lost their last game 4-1 at the hands of Internationale Milano they will give 100% in the game against the Devils.
Roma will be with captain Francesco Totti on the field, player that gives confidence to the rest of the squad. Players like Mancini and Alberto Aquilani can be an inspiration to the Italian side. The midfielders Simone Perrota and Ludovic Giuly will be constant threats to Tomasz Kuszczak, Manchester’s goalkeeper.
Manchester on the other hand will try and prove that the 7-1 victory form last season was not an accident and that Roma is much weaker than them is a fact. Sir Alex Ferguson will probably use the same attackers like in the last games with Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez in the first team.
Players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs and Michael Carrick will be constant threats to the Roma goalkeeper. Manchester has some problems in defence where they will be without Van Der Sar and there are chances that Vidic and Brown won’t be fully recovered untill the first whistle.

So , today our sportsbetting free tip is :

Play OVER 2.5 goals @ 1.943 only at Pinnacle

You can try also the asian handicap for the hosts with low stakes ! Good luck and see you soon with more free tips !

Elfsborg - Dinamo B

Posted on October 4th, 2007 in sportsbetting free tips by admin

uefa We re back with a tip from UEFA Cup , that you can find at every bookmaker .

This is the game between Sweden and Romanian championship winners. Dinamo is not in their best form but coach Walter Zenga is doing his best to bring Dinamo on the right track. Not too many good things about Elfsborg but in Bucharest they played awfull even if they won…
Dinamo looks like a new team after the new coach put his style on the team. They need this win more than ever for their morale and especially for their fans and i think they will give everything for a good result. In their last game Dinamo didn’t played quite bad but their defence was ok , even so Elfsborg would be happy with a draw so i expect them to play a defensive game.

Even though Dinamo has a little chance to qualify (in Bucharest the score was 1-2) but they can make a good result like 0-1 or 0-2 . And the odds are value.

So today s free tip is

Play on Dinamo Bucharest *draw no bet* @2.02 only at Pinnacle

The Olympiakos big win

Posted on October 6th, 2007 in sportsbetting free tips by admin

Greece Back for the weekend with a free tip from Greece . May say that it s a little bit risky .. but who s not ? the bookmakers know better … Today s game is from the Greek first League between Olympiakos Piraeus and Apollon Kalamaria .

Olympiakos are coming after a great win away to Bremen (1:3) for Champions League Groups stage. They had very smart play there, especially to the second half, where Werder was not to the ground, and Olympiakos created a lot of chances to score. The clouds over their coach Lemonis during the last weeks are now dismissed after this high win, and everyone is fully support this season’s team and coach. Huge number of fans are expected to congratulate their players for their first away victory on Champions League, and generally the climate at Olympiakos is very good at the moment.

The squad quality is unbeatable comparing against all the other teams to the league, with Lua Lua and Galleti on great form, and more big names after them, like Darko Kovacevic and the others. The only absentee for tomorrow will be Didier Domi for Olympiakos, not important to their play, usually is a substitute, so a full strength squad is expected.

To the away side, Apollon Kalamarias is in a period of many squad problems. Five important players of the main eleven are all out of the squad for different reasons : Emanuel Perone, Abonsah, Fitanidis, Murawski & Giannou. Their current results to the league wasn’t ok, and they have a big trouble scoring, especially now when Perone & Murawski are both out.

Also there was some internal problems at Apollon, that didn’t got out to public from the media. It is well known that their coach is a well experienced one, but very strict with his work. So midweek there was a word fight with Murawski and the coach, due to his selections to the squad. Also it is still a mystery why Apollon coach is leaving out of the squad Fitanidis, one of their best players during the last season, and didn’t played even 1 minute to these 3 games played allready. It is obvious that something fishy is going on Apollon.

No doubt about the winner here, Olympiakos should thrash Apollon easy and i think they will cover the handicap of 2 goals. They won the previous 6 direct games …

So today s free tip is :

Play Olympiakos -2 to win @ 1,77 only on Pinnacle

Also many good games to play , but you have to hurry up , the odds are dropping > A few suggestions ( off the record ) from the Scottish league for today oct 6th ::

Rangers (-1) vs Hibernian @ 1.77
Kilmarnock vs Inverness *play over 2 and 2,5 goals @ 1,70

Take those two picks with high confidence 7,5/10 . Highly recommended to play our free picks at Pinnacle  - a very usefull way to maximize the profit !

The Premiere League tip

Posted on October 6th, 2007 in sportsbetting free tips by admin

EnglandToday we re back with a free tip from the Premiere League , a game between two teams from the bottom of the table : Reading - Derby

This is a massive game for both of these sides, even at this early stage of the season. Reading are struggling thus far this season and i cant say that im really all that surprised by this. They have not invested in their squad over the summer and are now being found out by the opposition. But their home form has been ok really when you compare it to how they have done away from home. They have two wins from their first four games and really deserved at least a point against Chelsea.

Derby have done ok of late and thats even made Billy Davies come out and say that he thinks they have enough to avoid the drop. It s really hard . Away from home they are useless to say the least. They have lost all four games and are yet to score. In these four games they have also conceded a total of 16 goals. They are not very solid at all at the back and may look to come into this game and snatch a point. But they these are the types of games that away from home, are winable for them. But i just don’t think there is enough quality their in the squad. Despite the recent signing of Miller, a very good player, it s gonna be hard for them to avoid the drop.

I think Reading will win here, despite their recent poor performances on the road, they are much better at home.
So , today s free tip is :
Home Win Reading @1,71 played on Pinnacle

Tennis free tip

Posted on October 12th, 2007 in sportsbetting free tips by admin

ATP We re back with a new free tip from tennis , from the ATP tournament from Stockholm .
There s a lot of choices from our bookmakers but we stopped at this game :
Haas - Monaco

Tommy Haas defeated Albert Montanes of Spain 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 to reach the quarterfinals of the Stockholm Open on Wednesday.
Fifth-seeded Juan Monaco also reached the last eight, beating Swedish qualifier Filip Prpic 6-4, 6-4 and will meet Haas in Friday’s quarterfinals.
After splitting the first two sets, Haas broke Montanes’ serve at love to lead 3-1 and then held his serve the rest of the way.
“I was lucky to get the early break in the third set,” Haas said. “Overall, I’m pleased with the way I’ve been hitting the ball. So if I can just keep it in between the lines that will help.”
Haas, seeded fourth, is playing for the fourth time at the Royal Tennis Hall. His best result came in 2004 when he lost to Andre Agassi in the semifinals.
Overall , Haas is the best player here , and i don t see a problem for him in defeating Monaco. We ll go for a big one in this one .
So today s free tip is :
Play T Haas to win 2 - 0 @ 2,10 only at Pinnacle

* * the game will start at h 15,00 GMT in Stockholm today oct 12th * *

NFL special free tip

Posted on October 14th, 2007 in sportsbetting free tips by admin

nflAfter the good free tip from tennis this week , we have some good news from NFL , and a sunday night game ready to bet .

Philadelphia Eagles - New York Jets

Although the line has moved off of a key number, there is value left on the table for Eagles bettors, as the market continues to not fully quantify how poorly this Jets team is (or simply are predicting a turnaround in which I don’t see happening any time soon). Reid’s teams have had had a history of bouncing back strong coming off bye weeks, as well as coming embarrassing losses- two intangible variables working in the Eagles favor.

The Eagles will also get back Westbrook who could exploit a Jets defense that has been having trouble stopping the pass as well as the run. McNaab’s protection should also improve this week facing a Jets team that has managed just three sacks all season. With a DVOA ranked last on defense, the Jets lack the necessary skill set to curtail the Eagles ability to beat up on bad defenses- something the Lions were unable to do a few weeks back as well. The Jets offense has also struggled all season, in large part thanks to Pennington’s regression. At the same time, the Eagles defense has been getting progressively better and holds a decisive edge in the passing game.

The Jets lack of running game should make it hard for any adjustments against a Johnson defense that demands such. The Jets are not a good come from behind team, while the Eagles feed off one dimensional offense- making a backdoor cover less probable. This is one of the rare times in which I will jump on an NFC team going up against an AFC team. Value has been created from the Jets being overrated and the Eagles being underestimated coming into this game with a 1-3 record and a blowout loss on primetime last time out.

However, the decisive fundamental advantages they hold across the board, coupled with some favorable intangibles makes me think this came won’t be that close.

So the free tip for this weekend is :

Play Philadelphia Eagles - 3,5 to win @ 1,88 only on Pinnacle

Good luck and be ready for more free sportsbetting tips !
