They managed to score big time again against a really tired team , Seattle.
Swift scored a season-high 24 points, Mike Miller added 19 points and seven assists and the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Seattle SuperSonics 125-108 on Monday night.

“I just tried to move without the ball,” said Swift, who was 10-of-14 from the field. “They were focused on Pau (Gasol) mostly, and I was able to get open and get easy baskets. That helped me out a lot.”

Damon Stoudamire had 16 points and seven assists, and Hakim Warrick added 16 for the Grizzlies, who stopped a three-game skid. Gasol had 14 points, seven rebounds, five assists and seven blocks, one short of his career high for rejections.

Philadelphia rallied to defeat Portland 92-88 on Friday to snap a four-game losing streak.

Philadelphia missed its first 14 shots of the game and trailed by as many as 25 points before beginning its comeback. Louis Williams scored all 19 of his points in the second half, and Andre Iguodala had a team-high 22 points for the 76ers, who scored 65 points in the second half.
Scoring has been a problem so far for Philadelphia, which is averaging just 89.1 points per game. Injuries to forwards Kyle Korver (groin strain) and Jason Smith (sprained ankle) have compounded the problem, but the rally against Portland has given the team some hope.

On the other side, both Crosby and the Penguins (8-11-2) are trying to bounce back after a 2-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday. Two years in a row , these teams met in the playoffs and both were very intensive and close series, which created a little rivalry between these teams. It s impossible to believe that Lebron James sees this one as an opportunity to rest. Detroit never managed to stop him so far although they are one of the best defensive teams in the league .

Detroit is completing a four-game homestand after suffering its first loss at the Palace, 103-93 to Utah on Sunday. The Pistons played without forward Rasheed Wallace, who was out with a left knee injury but expects to return tonight. He will have an impact on the game , but his last performances against the Cavs didn t impressed .
The loss of Wallace was clearly felt inside, as Utah’s Carlos Boozer made 17 of 20 shots for 36 points and also had 11 rebounds.
