Indiana – Dallas

New NBA free tips for you . After yesterday s win on the Spurs , today we gonna focus on Indiana at Dallas game. Dirk Nowitzki Dallas has been one of the NBA’s best teams when playing at home, going 104-19 at the American Airlines Arena over the previous three seasons, so its 0-4 start under Carlisle was surprising.
Dirk Nowitzki is heating up. He scored 25 points and had 10 rebounds Friday, while Jason Kidd added 18 points, 13 rebounds and six assists. Nowitzki is averaging 24.7 points and 8.3 rebounds this season, and 30.0 points and 10.5 rebounds during the winning streak.
Nowitzki is heating up at a good time for the Mavericks, who have played without Josh Howard the last two games. Howard, who is averaging 20.3 points and 8.2 rebounds, remains day-to-day with a sprained ankle.
Even if he’s unavailable on Tuesday, the Mavs might not need him as the face a struggling Pacers team which has lost two in a row and four of five, including a 109-100 loss to Miami on Saturday. Marquis Daniels scored 25 points and Danny Granger added 23. The Heat outscored the Pacers by 21 points after halftime. On Friday against Orlando, they scored 54 first-half points before losing 100-98 in overtime.
Dallas and Indiana split last season’s two meetings with each winning at home. The Mavs have won eight of their last nine home games against the Pacers, including the last four.
M. Dunleavy is still out for the Pacers having problems with his knee.

I see the Mavs big favorites here if they will continue to play how they did it in the last 3 games .

Memphis – San Antonio

After a short break we re back tonight with another NBA free tip .  Tonight s match up is in Memphis , between Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs.

M GinobiliManu Ginobili is ready to play for the Spurs.

The Spurs guard, who missed the team’s first 12 games while recovering from September ankle surgery, will make his season debut tonight at Memphis, Popovich confirmed after this morning’s shootaround.

It was welcome news for Ginobili, who last week had targeted this very game for his return.

“It’s great to hear,” Ginobili said. “It’s been enough time.”

Late last week, Popovich seemed poised to deny Ginobili’s request for playing time in Memphis, saying Ginobili would play “when he’s ready.” Ginobili participated in several 5-on-5 scrimmages last week, apparently showing enough to convince Popovich he was, indeed, ready.

It isn’t clear how many minutes Ginobili might earn against the Grizzlies, buts it almost certainly won’t be many. Though he and Popovich haven’t discussed a plan, Ginobili said he will be surprised to play more than 10 or 12.

Every minute of game experience helps, he said.

“I’m going to be out of shape, a little slower,” said Ginobili. “But those are things you only get from playing. I feel like it works better for me getting 10 minutes of playing time than (spending) 20 minutes on a treadmill.”

San Antonio (6-6) is coming off a 119-94 rout of Utah on Friday, as it hit a season-high 51.9 percent from the field. Roger Mason started his seventh straight game at point guard in place of Tony Parker, who suffered a sprained left ankle Nov. 7, and scored a season-high 29 points on 10-of-17 shooting.

“I wasn’t going to go too crazy, but it was one of those nights,” said Mason, who went 7-of-10 from 3-point range. “Definitely felt good. If I had an open look, I was mad if I missed one.”

The Spurs started 8-of-9 from beyond the arc and finished at a season-best 60 percent (15-of-25). They’re shooting 40.9 percent from 3-point range and are 5-2 since Parker was injured.

Duncan averaged 23.1 points on 59.4 percent shooting in his first eight games at Memphis, but has scored just 15.5 per game and hit 44.8 percent in his last four visits.

While San Antonio tries to push its record above .500 for the first time in 2008-09, Memphis (4-9) is just looking for a win. Saturday’s 103-94 loss to the Jazz was the Grizzlies’ sixth in seven games.

O.J. Mayo led Memphis in scoring for the fifth time during this 1-6 stretch with 23 points. Mayo, the NBA’s leading rookie scorer at 20.2 points per game, is averaging 22.7 points and 4.6 rebounds in the last seven contests.

Second-year point guard Mike Conley scored 14 points for the second straight game Saturday, while adding a season-high eight assists and not committing a turnover. Memphis, however, committed 18 turnovers.

I m pretty sure Spurs will conitinue to improve and havin the experience on thier side , the result will come their way.

Wizard’s coach fired

After only 11 games the NBA makes another victim .

Eddie Jordan was fired as coach of the Washington Wizards on Monday after opening the season 1-10 without injured starters Gilbert Arenas and Brendan Haywood.

“That’s an unacceptable record, obviously,” team president Ernie Grunfeld said at a news conference to introduce director of player development Ed Tapscott as interim coach. “We had to do something. The way we’re losing games was unacceptable.”

The Wizards’ record matches the worst start in franchise history; the only other time the team was 1-10 was in 1966, when it was called the Baltimore Bullets. The final straw for Jordan appears to have been a 122-117 loss Saturday night to the undermanned New York Knicks, who had only seven players available.

Tapscott Tapscott ran his first practice as an NBA head coach Monday morning and vowed to place a strong emphasis on defense — something Jordan repeatedly promised, too.
Washington is allowing 103.5 points per game, which ranks 27th in the 30-team league.
“We’ve been a little sieve-like, letting people go down the lane,” Tapscott said. “Our philosophy will be: ‘Protect the rim and the lane.’”

While never before a head coach in the pros, Tapscott has plenty of front-office experience, including as president and chief operating officer of the Charlotte Bobcats and, before that, as vice president of player personnel and basketball operations for the Knicks in the 1990s. He coached at American University in the 1980s.
“We all respect him,” co-captain Antawn Jamison said. “We know he has a great basketball IQ.”
Associate head coach Mike O’Koren also was fired Monday.

“It just felt like we were going in the wrong direction,” Grunfeld said. “If felt a little stale.”
Jordan was in his sixth season with the Wizards and led the team to the playoffs each of the past four — the longest postseason streak for a Washington coach since Dick Motta did it from 1976-80. Under Jordan, though, the team made it past the first round only once.

In September, shortly before the start of training camp, the Wizards picked up a one-year option to keep Jordan under contract through the 2009-10 season. That, along with the injury-depleted roster, were reasons Jordan’s job was thought to be safe — and why Monday’s move came as something of a shock, despite the team’s record.

Jordan leaves as the Eastern Conference’s longest-tenured coach and No. 3 in the NBA behind Jerry Sloan of the Utah Jazz and Gregg Popovich of the San Antonio Spurs.

“This was an extremely difficult decision because I’m personally very fond of Eddie,” Wizards owner Abe Pollin said in a statement released by the team. “He helped bring our franchise back to the playoffs. … I will forever be grateful for his dedication and hard work. However, sometimes circumstances force changes. Our team is not performing to my expectations and I felt it was time to make a change.”

Jordan came into this season with a 196-214 mark with the Wizards, but that included a rebuilding 25-57 record in his first season. Since then — with a fast-paced offense built around Arenas and also featuring All-Star forwards Jamison and Caron Butler — Jordan helped turn the Wizards around.

He was the East’s coach at the 2007 All-Star Game.

But the Wizards have struggled to even be competitive at times this season, with Arenas recovering from his third operation on his left knee in 1½ years, and with Haywood out for perhaps the entire season after surgery on his shooting wrist.

Washington opened 0-5, then beat the Jazz at home to avoid the first 0-6 start in franchise history. That victory, though, was followed by another five-game losing streak.

The only NBA team with a worse record is the Oklahoma City Thunder, who are 1-13 and fired coach P.J. Carlesimo over the weekend.
Tapscott was an assistant to current Maryland coach Gary Williams at American University in the 1970s and became head coach in 1982. In eight seasons at AU, Tapscott finished with 119 victories.
It s not the end of the world and the Wizzars need to move on .

Clippers vs Spurs

Back on the west coast where a game between two teams with big problems is to be played tonight. We ll continue to provide free NBA tips and also we re working on our NBA live coverage on the live NBA page.

San Antonio Spurs – Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers (1-8) aren’t looking any better this fall, having dropped eight of nine to start the season despite playing eight of those nine games at Staples Center. After earning their lone victory last Sunday against Dallas, they’ve lost back-to-back home games to Sacramento and Golden State.
Clippers got outscored by both Kings and Warriors. Now they face the team with very limited offensive display. Spurs rely on Tim Duncan on both ends of the court. He has been huge in recent games. But I think that Clippers do match this shorthanded Spurs team rather well. Kaman and Camby are able to limit tired Duncan. Clippers have many guys to contribute in offense and it’s just a matter of bit better execution. After watching some of their games I believe those guys are much better than their SU record shows. This is big game for them and kind of must win as they start three game road trip next.
San Antonio turned in a strong defensive effort in a 77-75 win over the Rockets, then followed that up with a 90-88 road victory over Sacramento on Sunday, when they allowed just 16 points in the final period. Spurs got a win yesterday in Sacramento where Duncan and Finley played a good game as usual, but only Duncan cant carry the team on is back, Finley also has to play better than what he played so far in the season.
Spurs without Manu and Parker are really vulnerable.
Clippers to look for a 2nd win in the season no matter what it takes,  Clippers to win this game.

Boston – Denver

P Pierce  A full day in NBA tonight . Plenty of choices and good money to be made . We continue to provide free NBA tips like always .

Boston Celtics – Denver Nuggets

Boston (8-1) is riding 6-game winning streak and some might say that they’re sure bet, but the fact is that they were down by a double-digit in the last two games, so tonight they’ll have to be careful or the old saying “third time’s a charm” might just proved to be right. With the help of Tony Allen and the bench hey found the way to get past Detroit and when Toronto and Atlanta came to town, Paul Pierce took care of things, posting some nice fourth-quarter numbers. Although it seems like the Celtics have been slacking on offense, they’ve been doing it well on defensive end of the court. They are allowing only 88.4 points per game and it will be interesting to see them against offensively Nuggets.

Since the departure of “The Answer”, Denver (4-4)  lost that reputation of being (too) offensively oriented. Newly acquired, former Piston, Chauncey Billups definitely brings some toughness and defense to his new team. Looking at his playing style one might say he doesn’t fit with this team, but it looks like these guys “glued” and “Mr. Big Shot” definitely has enough experience to adapt to their system.

Denver, since they pulled off this deal,  they’ll be running with a bit slower pace than before – with Iverson. These two teams match-up well and the Celtics’ defense will look to slow down Carmelo Anthony and the new-look Denver Nuggets tonight at the Garden and it should be interesting.

Tonight s main prediction is DEN Nuggets @ BOS Celtics

NBA suspended players

The NBA game between Houston Rockets and Phoenix Suns was full with excitement …

Rockets guard Rafer Alston received a two-game suspension on Friday for his role in the scuffle in the third quarter of Wednesday’s game in Phoenix, forcing him to miss tonight’s game against the Spurs and Saturday’s against the New Orleans Hornets.

Alston went after Suns forward Matt Barnes after Barnes hit him while Alston set a screen for Tracy McGrady. Both were ejected from the game.

Barnes also received a two-game suspension. Suns point guard Steve Nash was suspended for one game for his role in the shoving that followed the confrontation.

Suns center Shaquille O’Neal was fined $35,000 and McGrady received a $25,000 fine. O’Neal, Nash and McGrady received technical fouls.

“Rafer and Matt Barnes, I didn’t think (the infractions) were equal because I thought one guy initiated and one retaliated,” McGrady said. “The guy that really initiated should have had more games. I don’t think Rafer deserved the same amount of games.

“About the 25, I don’t care about that.”

McGrady said he disputes Barnes’ notion that McGrady had set a hard screen on Nash.

“A hard pick?” McGrady said. “That wasn’t a hard screen. His (teammate) should have called out a screen. Any screen is hard if your man doesn’t call it out and you don’t see it. It’s wasn’t a hard screen. He just didn’t see it. I think he already had a pinched nerve in his neck. I don’t set hard screens. I don’t think I set a hard screen in my career.”

Asked about Barnes retaliating by running through an Alston screen, rather than on McGrady directly, McGrady said, “He chose wisely.”

Players may appeal the league’s ruling, but that only affects fines.

“I don’t have any (reaction),” Rockets general manager Daryl Morey said. “To me, the league has a role to play to keep the integrity of the game high. I thought Phoenix’s role was bigger than ours and the league was more severe on Phoenix, which I thought was appropriate.”

With Alston out, Aaron Brooks will start tonight, but the Rockets could be limited off the bench more than by not having Brooks in his sixth man role. The availability of Brent Barry is a game-time decision because of his sprained right thumb.

Tonight Rockets play in San Antonio , Suns are facing Sacramento .

Nov8 NBA free tips

A rough start this season , but the best is yet to come .
Today we have another teaser for you , this time a short one , 2 games @ 1,90.

Miami’s 99-83 win over the Spurs on Friday was its first in San Antonio since 1996.
New Orleans lost 92-89 to Charlotte. In the second quarter, the Hornets (3-2) missed 14 of 17 shots – including all five 3-point attempts – and were outscored 21-7.
James Posey was 2-of-4 from 3-point range and scored 11 off the bench, while Peja Stojakovic had 20 on 6-of-12 shooting from beyond the arc. His final 3-pointer pulled New Orleans within 90-89 with 14 seconds left.
Paul finished with 20 points, 10 assists and six steals, but missed a potential game-tying 3-pointer as time expired.
New Orleans swept the two-game season series against Miami in 2007-08, winning by an average of 27.5 points. Paul had 16 points and 16 assists on Jan. 11, as the Hornets defeated the Heat 114-88 in New Orleans.
In the other game , the mighty Suns will face the weaker Bucks ( without M Redd ) .Redd missed his second straight game with a sprained right ankle as Milwaukee (3-3) lost 101-89 at Boston on Friday. He was replaced in the lineup by Charlie Bell, who scored five points in his second start of the season. Redd is listed as day-to-day.
The Bucks have lost four straight meetings with the Suns, who have made 11 3-pointers in every game in that stretch.

NBA Tip of the day :      Portland vs. Minnesota

Roy

The Trail Blazers look for a fifth consecutive victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night at the Rose Garden. Portland looks to further add to its momentum heading into that trip as it tries for a sixth consecutive home victory over Minnesota (1-4), which has lost four in a row overall.
Roy is averaging 24.0 points on 50 percent (43-for-86) shooting in his last five games versus Minnesota.
The Blazers are a hell of a team at home.  Forget B.Roy and Aldridge, tomorrow watch for Rudy Fernandez and Travis Outlaw to continue to dominate the offensive end for POR.  Minny will be tired off a back to back and a flight from Cali to Portland Oregon.   I don’t see the Tims staying close in this game, should be a doublt digit victory for the blazers as the young  timbercubs suffer yet another loss.

The single game that worth to be played today is  :  Utah vs. Oklahoma City

Starting really good this season with 4 wins – shows that Utah is really focused and i guess tonight will be no exception against one of the weakest teams in the league.

Boozer

Boozer has been especially effective against the former Seattle . He averaged 20.5 points and 11.1 rebounds in his career against Seattle, and Boozer helped the Jazz win four straight and six of their last eight over the SuperSonics with 22.8 points and 13.1 rebounds in those game.

For the third straight year, Boozer is averaging a double-double per game with 20.8 points and 10.0 rebounds, but his field-goal percentage is at 62.7 percent through the first four games, an 8.5 percent jump over his career average.
Oklahoma City scored a season-best 29 points in the first quarter on Wednesday against defending NBA champion Boston, but the Thunder got just 26 in the next two quarters in a 96-83 loss.

Today s bet is : Utah Jazz -11 vs Oklahoma City Thunder @1.893 only at Pinnacle
