Denver at Charlotte
Another night with a free NBA pick , kind of a short notice, a little late today.
The Nuggets are running hot right now and even all the rumors surrounding the team and the Carmelo trade, they look very focused.
The coach George Karl has a chance to join an elite group of names by earning his 1,000th career win, so what better chance than tonigh against the Bobcats. Karl missed the final two months of last season while battling throat and neck cancer, only a few years after surviving prostate cancer. Now with a clean bill of health, he has the Nuggets on a seven-game winning streak.
Nene scored a season-high 27 points on 10-of-13 shooting as Denver beat Memphis 108-107 on Sunday. Carmelo was held to 13 points and shot a season-low 20.0 percent (4 for 20). The three-time All Star has averaged 13.8 points and 28.8 percent from the field over his last four games, but he should have a good chance to bounce back tonight. He has averaged 32.2 points in six road games versus Charlotte.
Charlotte has been outscored by a total of 33 points in the opening period of its last three losses. Wallace, second on the team with 16.5 points per game, was held to eight against the 76ers. He has averaged 24.5 points in his last four home meetings with Denver.
Charlotte has lost four of the last five meetings.
Denver is 4-1 SU & 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings with the Bobcats. Charlotte is just 7-13 this season, in part due to few playmakers on offense. The Bobcats are scoring 94.9 PPG and will have a hard time keeping up with a Denver team that is 13-6 on the season, scoring 106.2 PPG. The Bobcats are 2-7-2 ATS in their last 11 games as an underdog of 0.5-4.5. Charlotte is 3-13-1 ATS in their last 17 vs. NBA Northwest division opponents.
Denver is 32-16 ATS after playing 2 consecutive home games over the last 3 seasons.
Bobcats are 2-7-2 ATS in their last 11 games as an underdog of 0.5-4.5.
So, tonight’s NBA free tip is:
Good luck to you all !
