Hawks vs Packers NBA pick
Lots of NBA games tonight , you might want to consider some NBA underdogs , but for the game below , we might look for a different approach . Our NBA picks are rolling, keep watching.
NBA pick preview
With their considerable success on the road, perhaps the Atlanta Hawks might be a bit hesitant to return to the Peach State. Atlanta will vie for its fourth win in a row on Saturday when they welcome the Central Division-leading Indiana Pacers. Jeff Teague, who is an Indianapolis native, recorded a career-high 27 points as the Hawks improved to 8-4 on the road with a 102-94 triumph over Cleveland on Friday. The Pacers have lost in 10 consecutive visits to the Atlanta Hawks and will try to end that drought while seeking a fifth victory in a row Saturday night.
Atlanta is seeking a third straight victory at Philips Arena and its 10th in 13 games while Indiana will try to match its season-high three-game road win streak from Nov. 19-30. The fight for a spot in the NBA playoffs is tough and the mighty Hawks are looking for the 3rd spot in the Eastern Conference.
Atlanta Hawks and Indiana Pacers shared their wins when played at home and I expect the same thing tonight when will play for the 3rd time:
Atlanta Hawks Indiana Pacers 89:86
Indiana Pacers Atlanta Hawks 102:98
True both are having a good moment, Indiana won last 5 rounds and Atlanta won last 3 rounds and anything can happen here but the home court seems to be an advantage the guests didn’t managed to overcome, and as I said the team that played at home imposed.
Plus home side seems to have a better defensive and this could be one of keys of this important match as both teams want the top 4 places in this conference in order to avoid the top teams in the first rounds of the play-offs.
A few NBA stats to consider :
Pacers are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600.
Pacers are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.
Favorite is 17-5 ATS in the last 22 meetings.
Home team is 15-6 ATS in the last 21 meetings.
Pacers are 3-8 ATS in the last 11 meetings.
Pacers are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings in Atlanta.
Keep in mind that Josh Smith is questionable for tonight’s game, but still , Hawks should have the first chance here in front of the Pacers without Granger.
