New Jersey at Utah
Big blow for the hosts tonight .
Utah (29-16) expects to be without forwards Carlos Boozer and Andrei Kirilenko. Boozer got njured in Utah s lost 94-83 against New Orleans on saturday. After a poor game and with two of their best players injured , Utah seems to be in trouble for tonight s game.Rookies Paul Millsap and Ronnie Brewer are expected to start at forward against the Nets. Millsap, who’s averaging 6.0 points and 4.4 rebounds, had 15 points and a career-high 17 rebounds in Boozer’s place saturday. The Jazz, who are 16-5 at home, have lost three of their last five games at Salt Lake City.
The Nets (21-23) are coming after a series of games very unlucky … they lost 3 games at one point , everytime in the last second of the game. But they managed well the situation and they won at Denver 112-102. Carter has increased his scoring in all four games of the road trip after scoring a season-low eight points in Monday’s 88-87 loss at Sacramento. He’s averaging 36.5 points on nearly 66 percent shooting in the last two games. Even though they still missed Jefferson , NJ are recovering good after a bad start season and look like a very united team.
I m gonna go with the “underdog” here , because imo , the situation should be opposite. So :
