The first NBA free tip
Big day today .. The NBA season starts ! All the bookmakers are ready , so we are .
There s a couple of games today and the first one of the season is Philadelphia 76ers at Toronto Raptors .
Toronto is the defending Atlantic Division champ for a reason, respected by its opposition to the point where Jason Kidd defers to the Raptors as the favorite and the mighty Boston Celtics believe that’s who they have to go through.
The Raptors who were embarassed in getting knocked out in the play offs last season are looking to get back there this year and show what they can do again in the post season, the Raptors have a very good side and should be just as competitive as they have been over the last two seasons, they still have the majority of their roster with Bosh,Ford,Calderon,Garbojosa,Barganani,Parker and the newly aqquired Delfino, they have good depth in all positions and with the scorers they have should finish right up there again this season.
The 76’ers had to get used to having no A I last season and although it took a long time to get some positive results they did end the season well, their roster is’nt the strongest but they do have some decent talent with Green,Miller,Randolph and Dalembert in their roster and Korver who is a great 3 point shooter and Iquodala in their line up they can score points and will have their moments this season i think.
Once Toronto was ousted by New Jersey in the playoffs, there was doubt that the NBA’s Coach of the Year would be back. How serious would the Raptors be about keeping someone everyone assumed would be let go when the year began? Colangelo’s initial offer was more than fair, making it difficult for Indiana and Charlotte, who were after Mitchell’s services, to even compete. The Raptors were not only the best job, but they also ponied up the dough. Mitchell received a four-year deal that pays him more than $3 million per season, not to mention incentives.
Jason Kapono was signed to help the Raptors improve from the perimeter, which should be beneficial considering they’re always going to look to push the tempo and try and get open looks in transition. He and Carlos Delfino are the only acquisitions who figure to get any significant playing time this season, so Toronto should be cohesive from the start. Bargnani, Garbajosa and Parker now have a full understanding of what the NBA is about, both from a travel standpoint as well as what goes on out on the floor. Bosh is more used to being the focal point.
Today s free tip is :
Actually for this game a pretty good option could be the over 191 @ 1,93 . A lot of long distance shooters for the Raptors .. a lot of 3 pointers … so a lot of points . Let s see though if Philly can keep it close to it ..
