The NBA pick of the week

The NBA pick of the week

Alright friends , let’s see if we can keep the streak going , tonight we have a big game.

OKC Thunder @ SA Spurs

The best teams in the West Conference are playing tonight. This can be very well the West’s NBA Playoff finals.

But one team is suffering. The Spurs will again be without Parker, expected to miss four weeks with a left ankle sprain. San Antonio won its first two games without him before Friday’s 136-106 loss to Portland, marking the franchise’s worst defeat in Tim Duncan’s 16 seasons and the second-worst ever at home.

Who’s going to replace Parker?  The second year guard Cory Joseph will be in the lineup and will face the Thunder for the first time this season. He’ll likely be matched up with Westbrook, who averaged 30.6 points over the first seven games of this 8-1 stretch for Oklahoma City before totaling 26 over the last two.

Parker hit a buzzer-beater to give San Antonio an 86-84 win in the first meeting between the teams Nov. 1. but he’s not playing tonight. He’s the heart of this team and I do believe the Spurs have a different style without him. OKC is rolling like a Thunder and they have proven every game is treated at 100% (except Miami). Spurs don’t have a LeBron – so I think OKC will take this one down.

A few interesting NBA stats to consider before jumping to any NBA bet :

Spurs are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600.
Spurs are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing more than 125 points in their previous game.
Spurs are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
Thunder are 6-1 ATS in the third game of a 3-in-4 days situation.
Thunder are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 Monday games.
Thunder are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

Playing well rested and having lost the previous meeting , I see the Thunder taking advantage of the Parker circumstance. You don’t find OKC as a NBA underdog very often and 2 points can mean a lot if it’s a close finish.
My NBA pick of the day and my strong NBA lean is to

Take OKC +2 at odds around 1,83 to 1,90 depending on the bookie and the time.

Good Luck !
