Toronto lost last night at home against the Bulls , 107-97, after they stayed close in the game till the end. The bad news for them is that TJ Ford got injured in the final minutes … It s gonna be really hard without Ford and Bosh , and their record on the road is pretty poor ( 5-13).
Major change for the Grizzlies , they have a new coach : Tony Barone Sr. makes his debut .
The Grizzlies (6-24) have won seven straight from Toronto (13-18) since a 92-87 home loss on Dec. 1, 2002. Even with Gasol, Memphis are on a losing streak of 5 games now and and with just 1 win in last 12 games.. Many of those losses were very unlucky, by 2-3-5 points.
Maybe sounds weird , but i really think today , something will be different. They ll be motivated , and i think the new coach will change something in their mentallity.
