A few years ago , Galata was leadind the turkish league with many points ahead of Fener.Now the situation is opposite.This match is a must win match for Galatasaray.They lost last week in derby match to Fenerbahce.The point gap for the championship increased to 7 points.In addition Fenerbahce won friday which means the gap is now 10 points.In case a result other than win,they will be earthquake at the management.The future for the coach Gerets can be decided after that match.
