LA Lakers at Washington
Two big NBA actors are facing tonight : K Bryant and G Arenas .
The Lakers(28-19) lost to Indiana 95-84 on Friday, as Bryant had 22 points on 7-of-25 shooting from the field . Not a great performance from the LA superstar. He’s averaging 34.2 points on 46.2 percent (18-of-39) shooting from 3-point range in his last five games against the Wizards, being held to less than 30 points in just one of those games . IMO , Lakers means Kobe … if he s gonna play good , the team has a chance … if not … i m sorry for Lakers.
Washington (27-18) wil be without their second best player A Jamison ( out for 3-6 weeks). Arenas personality will dictate in a big way the rythm of tonight s game. He was elected to be a starter in the East team for the All Star GAme , very important for him. On Dec. 17, Arenas scored a franchise-record 60 points in the Wizards’ 147-141 overtime victory over the Lakers .
Washington, meanwhile, has won 11 of its last 12 games at the Verizon Center, and its 18-4 home record is the best in the East.
